Heat Treating
At Hudson Technologies, all of our metal parts are cold-formed to preserve the integrity of the metal. With certain repetitive stamping operations, some metals can become work-hardened. Too much work hardening prevents forming operations. Our metal heat treating services protect the metal and enable forming operations. We offer in-house vacuum annealing and hump-back annealing treatments, which heat the metal parts to specific temperatures before quenching them at a measured rate. This softens the metal and restores malleability to continue the metal-forming process. We also offer retort heat treating and aluminum heat treating services.
Cleaning Capabilities
We pride ourselves on our commitment to eco-friendly technologies and systems. We use aqueous (water-based) cleaning systems and avoid solvent-based cleaners to ensure clean parts and even cleaner wastewater from our facility. Our aqueous cleaning systems generate natural hydraulic purging with vertical agitation, ensuring our environmentally friendly cleaners reach all parts of metal components. Other elements of our water-based cleaning systems include basket rotation, high-pressure submerged spray, and ultrasonics.
