Sheet Metal Stamping Services

Hudson Technologies performs numerous metal stamping operations to help you achieve your perfect components. Our experts use advanced technology and equipment to produce stamped metal parts crafted to your exact specifications. These metal stamping processes are designed to provide customized, cost-effective metal solutions for projects in any industry.

Deep Draw Stamping

Deep draw stamping produces three-dimensional metal parts with extreme precision. These parts can range from simple to highly complex, with depths that exceed their diameters. Deep draw stamping is one of the most popular metal-forming manufacturing processes for its speed, accuracy, and comprehensive production capabilities.

Shallow Draw Stamping

Shallow draw stamping is similar to deep draw stamping, although shallow-drawn components feature diameters greater than their depths. Shallow drawing requires less force and is ideal for pieces with minimal depth requirements.

Progressive Stamping

Progressive die stamping uses multiple dies on one machine to facilitate rapid production. As sheet metal moves through the machine, the dies press the metal into the desired shape, producing high-volume production runs quickly and with high repeatability.

Secondary Metal Stamping Processes & Capabilities

At Hudson Technologies, we pride ourselves on manufacturing custom solutions to meet your exact specifications. In addition to our advanced metal stamping services, we offer a wide variety of secondary services to fulfill all your needs in one place. These beneficial processes include:

Metals & Materials for Stamped Metal Parts

We use a large range of metal alloys to create custom stamped parts. When determining the best sheet metal for your components, our experts consider many key factors, including tensile strength, ductility, weldability, and machinability. Our selection of metals and materials for sheet metal stamping includes:

  • Aluminum
  • Stainless Steel
  • Cold-rolled Steel
  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Nickel
  • Nickel Silver
  • Cupronickel
  • HY-MU 80
  • Titanium
  • Monel®
  • Hastelloy®
  • Kovar®
  • Inconel®

Our stamping processes can produce metal components in any shape or geometry with dimensions from 1/8 in. (3.1 mm) to 12 in. (305 mm) in diameter and up to 12 in. long, using material between 0.002 in. (0.05 mm) and 0.187 in. (4.75 mm) thick. We can produce metal diaphragms, flat or corrugated, in diameters ranging from 0.2 in. (5.08 mm) to 18 in. (457.2 mm) and in thicknesses from 0.001 in. (0.025 mm) to 0.018 in. (0.457 mm).
